Major fire destroys Russian River Health Center

All of us at Solar Works are saddened by the devastating fire that badly damaged the Russian River Health Center in Guerneville, leaving the building unusable.

As a valued neighbor providing quality, accessible health care services to thousands of local residents, West County Health Centers, the non-profit organization that operates the Russian River Health Center, needs and deserves our community’s support in whatever ways possible.

John Parry and Laura Goldman visited the site after the fire, and saw first-hand the amazing spirit and resilience of WCHC. The Solar Works PV array next to the building was not damaged. But that is small consolation for this huge loss to our community.

Of course, the health center will be rebuilt, but it will take time. Right now, West County Health Centers has a plan in place to care for all Russian River Health Center patients. For information and updates, please visit the website.
