Design and Installation
Solar Works designs and installs photovoltaic and battery systems according to your specific needs and for the best return on investment. We do all of the paperwork for permits, financing, interconnection, and rebates if they apply.
System Evaluations
Solar Works can perform a thorough assessment of most existing solar electric systems. Our trained and experienced technicians inspect and test systems for workmanship and production levels, and provide a written system performance report, identifying any issues and recommendations for improvement. Realtors, home buyers, and anyone wanting to make changes to an existing system will benefit from this service.
Troubleshooting and Repairs
Solar Works routinely troubleshoots and repairs electrical issues, such as failed inverters, connectors, and modules. Most often, the cessation of a PV system’s energy production is due to a failed inverter. If the inverter has failed, our designer will determine the best replacement inverter for your system. Once the inverter is replaced, the technician will ensure that you understand how to use your new inverter.
PV Expansions
Solar Works can help determine the best way to increase your PV system’s production to meet increased demand (new pool, additional appliances, Electric Vehicle charging, etc.). We start with a thorough system evaluation and then use advanced production and consumption modeling to ensure the best value and outcome for your particular situation.
Removal and Reinstallation
Solar Works can coordinate with your roofer to remove and reinstall your existing array during a re-roof. We then re-commission the system. This can be a good time to evaluate and expand your system, since we will be on the roof and re-arranging the racking system and wiring.
Monitoring Installation
If you would like the convenience and added level of data collection, Solar Works can install remote, online monitoring for your existing PV system. This is also a good option if the photovoltaic system’s inverter(s) is in a difficult location to access, or you are monitoring production on a home in which you do not live full time.
EV Chargers & Other Electrical Work
Solar Works installs new circuits for EV Chargers and other electrification projects, like induction cooking and heat pump water and space heating. We can assess your existing electrical service and help you meet your decarbonization goals.
